What is the difference between the ABC/ASL Vocabulary DVD and the ABC/ASL 4-Disc DVD Series?

The ABC/ASL Vocabulary DVD (Product Code D325) demonstrates all of the vocabulary words in each of the 22 lessons of the textbook, A Basic Course in American Sign Language (the “ABC/ASL book”). The vocabulary words are listed at the end of each lesson in the ABC/ASL book. In particular, the vocabulary words are contained on pages 17-20, 26-29, 36-39, 48-51, 59-63, 71-75, 83-86, 93-97, 101-105, 111-115, 125-128, 135-139, 148-151, 159-162, 169-172,180-182, 189-192, 197-200, 206-210, 215-219, 227-230 and 237-240 of the ABC/ASL book. The Vocabulary DVD also demonstrates the manual alphabet contained on page 244 of the book, and the number signs contained on pages 245-247 of the book.

The 4-Disc ABC/ASL DVD Series (Product Code D111) demonstrates each of the exercises and dialogues presented in the ABC/ASLbook. The exercises are contained within the 22 lessons of the ABC/ASL book. In particular, the exercises are contained on pages 15-17, 23-25, 30-36, 42-47, 55-59, 65-71, 77-82, 88-93, 99-101, 107-110, 119-124, 130-134, 141-147, 155-158, 165-168, 175-178, 185-189, 195-197, 203-206, 212-215, 221-227, and 233-237 of the ABC/ASL book. The dialogues are contained on pages 53, 87, 117, 153, 183, 211, and 241 of the ABC/ASL book. The 4-Disc ABC/ASL DVD Series also includes one hour of spontaneous, unrehearsed conversations among four Deaf adults. The topics of conversation include, Mischievous Behavior, Travel Experiences, Deaf Clubs and Name Signs. The conversations offer excellent practice in reading signs in conversation.
